As quoted from the blog Efni Dewita, Friday (04/01/2013), Bayang Sani Waterfall has a height of nearly 80 meters. This waterfall is very well known long ago. In the Dutch colonial era, this location becomes to bath for the Dutch master and lady. Because of their amazement, then it is called this waterfall as "Welcome" or "selamat datang waterfall".
Wellcome Waterfall's name was embedded in people's lives around, until the 1980's. Then, the waterfall similar to a horse's tail is replaced with the name is Bayang Sani Waterfall.Because of that history, Bayang Sani Waterfall iconic attractions waterfalls in the Pesisir Selatan District. Many say that the Bayang Sani Waterfall is the largest waterfall in the Pesisir Selatan District.
Bayang Sani Waterfall consists of several levels. According residents, there are five levels of waterfalls in the area. But that could be covered only up to the second level waterfall. Bayang Sani Waterfall's first level is a waterfall that welcome tourist arrive at the site when new. The first level waterfall has a height of nearly 80 meters, consists of three branches waterfalls snaking on the rocks rock. Underneath has made a number of swimming baths. In addition, the bathroom is also available, as well as a place of rest and worship.

This second level waterfall stands upright with a height of approximately 25 meters. Only one waterfall, not divided like the first level waterfall. The air around a bit damp, because almost all locations foliate waterfalls of the trees are lush forest.At the bottom of the second level waterfall is a water depths. The water was greenish, a sign of very deep, and very cool because it comes from forests in the Lumpo hills, in the Kerinci Seblat National Park.
