As a coastal area on the edge of the Indian Ocean, Pesisir Selatan District were not only has maritime attractions. Still there are many other natural attractions in the area that are in the southern region of West Sumatra Province, such as the waterfall. One is Timbulun Waterfall.

Timbulun Waterfall located in Painan Timur, Nagari Painan, IV Jurai Sub-District. The location is not far from the center of Painan City, the capital of the Pesisir Selatan District, only about 4 kilometers. From Painan Market can hire a motorcycle taxi at a cost of Rp 5,000. While the cost of entry to the location of the waterfall is also only Rp 5,000.

Timbulun Waterfall also known as Pincuran 7 Levels Waterfall, because it has seven levels of waterfalls. Each level of the waterfall has a charm of each are different. Another uniqueness, peak of Timbulun Waterfall get into the Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS). From the top of these hills, will go to the Alahan Panjang region, Solok Selatan District.
