Beautiful beach on the Cingkuak Island.

Cingkuak Island, with an area of ​​4.5 hectares, facing the Batu Kareta Island, located in the Carocok Beach, Painan. The island is a silent witness to the colonial heritage in the Pesisir Selatan District, which at that time was the economic center and port in west coast of Sumatra.

Cingkuak Island visited by tourists as well as the students who do outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and is also often used as objects of research each year by the Institute of Archaeology, located in Medan.
