Natural disasters that befell the Pasir Putih Beach area, in Lengayang, Pesisir Selatan District a year ago, did not make the area a place filled with bitter stories for local residents. According to local residents, Pasir Putih Beach which is an area that floods the former would be a beautiful tourist spot.

As reported in Padang-Today.com, Sunday (13/01/2013), local residents said that the road along the Pasir Putih Beach is no longer just a regular highway. But there are shapes and designs on the side of the road as a tourist location.

"The workers were repairing this road dozens of nut trees are planted about 2 feet tall. Addition, also decorated with lights along the road," says Aciak Eman (44), a local resident.

Based on the observation Padang-Today.com reporters at the site, road conditions along the Pasir Putih Beach is still in the process of work, even though the course is drivable again. But there is still work in some empty land on the edge of the beach.

"There may be about 2 to 3 months, the situation in the region will be able to fully recover. Roads repaired, it may be a difference. Using road construction cement, not asphalt. Then planted nut trees and installed a few lights on the edge road. If the road is ready, in my guess, this place is going to be a beautiful tourist spot, especially in the afternoon until the evening," added the road workers.
