Panasahan Port is the only port in the Pesisir Selatan District, precisely located in the District IV Jurai. From the Painan City, located about 5 kilometers to the south. The port was built in 2002 and completed in 2008.

Panasahan Port has an area of ​​about 50 acres was built as a location for the transport of CPO (crude palm oil) in the Pesisir Selatan District, and a number of neighboring regions, such as Mukomuko District, Bengkulu Province. Pesisir Selatan District Government targeting this port will start operating in 2014 for transport a large scale.

Apart from being a location of economic activity, Panasahan Port also has the potential of tourism. The port is always the center implementation of fishing competition in the Langkisau Festival each year. The fish in the waters around the port is famous for diverse and large.

In addition, the scenery around the Panasahan Port also very beautiful, especially during the afternoon when the sunset. Naturally, if the Pesisir Selatan District Government include port in attractions development plan along with Carocok Beach and Langkisau Hill. All three attractions will be built as the tourism icon of Pesisir Selatan District with the name of the Pacar Bulan region, stands Panasahan, Carocok and Langkisau.
